Mild steel storage tanks are available from 6,000 gallons up to 30,000 gallons for most all types of fertilizer storage. (Consult Murray Equipment for compatability) All tanks are constructed of low carbon mild steel for maximum resistanceto corrosion. The bottom of all of the tanks are made of 1/4" thick steel. The shell of the tanks are 3/16" steel up to 15,000 gallon and tanks up to 30,000 will have a 1/4" shell on the first course with 3/16" for the balance of the shell. All tanks will have a 3/16" top. Standard tank fittings are a manway opening in the side wall, sight gauge ports, 3" opening in top for venting and one 3" stainless coupling outlet. Tanks are painted with rust resistant primer. Optional fitting locations and size openings available upon request.
