NH3 Excess Flow Valves

NH3 excess flow valves are available from 11/4" thru 3". The 1700 series is designed to close when liquid flow exceeds the valve's factory-set rated flow. They are intended to prevent large discharges of NH3 due to a break in the line downstream of the valve, PROVIDED THAT RESTRICTIONS DOWNSTREAM OF THE VALVE DO NOT EXCEED THE FLOW RATING OF THE VALVE. Excess flow valves have closing flows from 50gpm to 225 gpm in male or female configuration, and may be used for inline or tank installation.
